The Pleasures of Tea was established in 2007 as a purveyor of premium loose leaf tea, tea ware, scone mixes, and related tea-themed products. We specialize in tea education, tea-tastings, and in-home tea tasting parties, during which our customers can sample and purchase teas and other products.Customers may also purchase our products through our online store or at the numerous vendor shows that we participate in throughout the year.

The Pleasures of Tea is based in Bohemia, New York and is owned and operated by Kristine Henderson. We support and promote a lifestyle that incorporates relaxing rituals to reduce stress and improve well-being. We believe that preparing and drinking tea is a key element in this lifestyle and we aim to increase awareness of the benefits of drinking tea and educate consumers about quality loose leaf tea and its proper preparation. Our products have been carefully selected so that customers can effortlessly create their own soothing moments or pull together a tea party to entertain family and friends.

Kristine Henderson is a Certified Tea Specialist. She completed level three of the tea education program offered through the Specialty Tea Institute in New York City. She continues her own tea education through seminars, travel, and drinking as much tea as she can.
