2019 Imperial Grade Moonlight White Tea Cake 100g

$25.00

2019 Imperial Grade Moonlight White Tea Cake is from Jing Gu County in the mountainous southwestern part of Yunnan Province in China. Camellia taliensis, which is indigenous to Yunnan and a wild-growing cousin of Camellia sinensis, provides the leaf material for this exquisite tea. The minimally-cultivated bushes are about 50-60 years old. plants grow at an elevation around 3,500 feet. The leaves are harvested in spring, slightly wilted, dried thoroughly in a warm air tunnel, and then pressed into this beautiful tea cake.

The multi-colored leaves and buds yield a very aromatic, slightly viscous, light- to medium-bodied infusion that is sweet and fresh with grassy, fruity, and floral notes. With aging, this tea will develop deeper, richer, and malty notes.

Cake is 100g (3.5 oz.) and the leaves can be infused multiple times. A Pu-er knife is highly recommended to pry the leaves apart.
