Guizhou White Tea is a Bai Mu Dan-Style white tea from the Guizhou Province of China. This tea is crafted from the Fuding Bai Hao cultivar, which is one of the traditional cultivars used in Fujian Province to produce Silver Needle and Bai Mu Dan white teas. The plants grow at an altitude about 3,600 feet in a humid, subtropical climate. The two-leaves-and-a-bud pluck is spring-harvested and then allowed to wither for a long 70-hour process that allows for varying degrees of oxidation on the leaves.
The beautiful, multi-colored leaves and buds has colors that are reminiscent of falling autumn leaves. They yield a light- to medium-bodied, slightly viscous, smooth infusion that is clean with a lingering sweetness and fresh, grassy, honey, and fruity notes.
