PT Harendong Organic is a black tea from PT Harendong Green Farm. The farm is located at an elevation approximately 2,700 feet near Mount Halimun Salak National Park in the westernmost Banten Province on the Indonesian island of Java. The garden has only planted a Taiwanese wulong cultivar of Camellia sinensis sinensis in the rich volcanic soil of this pristine mountainous region.
Lightly roasted rolled leaves unfurl to yield a smooth, rich, and complex medium– to full-bodied infusion with sweet notes of caramel and earth and a hint of floral.
Leaves may be infused multiple times.
