Bi Luo Chun Green Tea is from main agricultural area of Jiangsu Province, which is located on the east coast of China. The majority of the province is low-lying, flat plains that do not exceed an elevation of 165 feet and the climate is humid and subtropical. Even though it only produces about 18% of China’s teas, it is known as a major producer of quality green tea.
Translated as green spring snail, Bi Luo Chun is one of the ten most famous teas of China. The very small one leaf and a bud pluck from the Dong Ting Mountain area is processed into soft, fuzzy curls that unfurl to yield a delicate and well-balanced, light-bodied infusion that has a slight astringency and a fresh, subtle earthy sweetness.
