Lotus Blossom is a green tea grown in Ha Giang Province in Vietnam that is sent to Hanoi after harvest and processing for a laborious scenting process by hand. This authentically crafted tea is becoming increasingly rare due to the associated time and cost to produce it. About 1,500 flowers harvested from Hanoi’s West Lake are required to scent two pounds of tea over a period of two weeks from May through July.
The leaves yield an intoxicatingly aromatic, smooth, light– to medium-bodied infusion with a rich mouthfeel and floral, vanilla, and subtle sweet spice notes.
Please note that this tea is scented following traditional methods. This tea has no flavors added to it.
