Sticky Rice Tuo Cha Shou Pu-er is a post-fermented dark tea from the Yunnan Province of China. After harvest, the leaves undergo the pile fermented process, which replicates an accelerated "aging" of the leaves. Lastly, the leaves were blended with leaves from the nuo mi xiang herb, meaning "sticky rice fragrance", and compressed into a tuo shape, which is a little bowl or nest shape.
The leaves yield a very smooth and rich, full-bodied infusion that is earthy and sweet with the aroma and taste of sticky rice.
Each tuo is averages about 5.5 grams. They are perfectly portioned for one Gong Fu session or to make one to two cups of tea. The leaves can be infused multiple times.
