Jin Jun Mei Black Tea is from Tong Mu Guan Village near the Wu Yi Mountains in the Fujian Province in China. This tea is grown at an elevation about 3,300 feet and first appeared only about a decade ago. This high grade, pure bud pluck turns a beautiful gold after processing.
The buds yield a thick and coating, medium- to full-bodied infusion with rich, sweet aromas and lingering notes of malt, cacao, caramelized sugar, and a subtle smokiness.
