Rose Congou is a scented black tea from the Fujian Province of China. This classic tea is produced in much the same way as jasmine and other scented teas, in which the tea leaves are blended with rose petals and allowed to rest for a period of time in order to softly scent the tea. After the resting period, the rose petals are partially removed and the scenting process is repeated.
The leaves yield an infusion that is medium-bodied and mellow with a sweet, floral aroma and taste. Enjoy it hot or iced.
