Donyi Polo Estate Reserve Wulong Tea is from the Arunachal Pradesh Region in the foothills of the Himalayas in northeastern India. The garden is located near Oyan Village at an elevation of 429 feet, it was the first tea garden planted in this state in 1986. All three varieties of the tea plant, Camellia sinensis, are grown here - sinensis, assamica, and cambodiensis. The plants benefit from a temperate climate with abundant rainfall in the summer.
The beautiful, large, twisted, multi-colored, downy leaves and buds yield a light– to medium-bodied and complex infusion with fresh, citrusy, floral, and sweet fruit notes and a hint of spice.
