Yu Lan Xiang Dan Cong China Wulong Tea

Yu Lan Xiang (Magnolia Fragrance) is a wulong tea from Guangdong Province on the southeastern coast of China. Dan Cong or “single tree” teas are hand-harvested not from bushes, but by climbing trees. These distinctive teas are selectively bred from cultivars for their own unique taste and aroma characteristics and the leaves are harvested by tree or type of tree. These leaves are never blended and are processed separately from the leaves of other types of trees in order to retain their unique taste and aromatic character. This Yu Lan Xiang is comprised of high-elevation grown, spring-harvested leaves have been hand-processed and oxidized around 30%, followed by a very light roast.

The beautiful, large, twisted leaves  unfurl to yield a highly aromatic, smooth, viscous, light-bodied infusion with fresh, floral, fruity, and sweet notes.

Leaves may be infused multiple times.
