Rose Heart is a dark tea from Anhua County in the Hunan Province of China. Harvested in 2016, the leaves were then fermented and aged. Lastly, the leaves were blended with rose petals and compressed into the shape of a heart.
The leaves yield a very smooth and mellow, medium- to full-bodied infusion with the typical earthy and hay notes of dark tea accented with a subtle floral sweetness.
Each heart is approximately 5 grams. They are perfectly portioned for one Gong Fu session or to make one to two cups of tea. The leaves can be infused multiple times.
