Yunnan Organic Yellow Tea is crafted in the Simao District in the Yunnan Province in southern China. This is an experimental tea that is produced at an elevation of about 4,300 feet. A blend of young bud set comprised of a mix of one leaf and a bud and two leaves and a bud is hand-plucked and hand-processed.
The large twisted leaves yield a very smooth, balanced and sweet, medium-bodied infusion with cacao and fruity notes reminiscent of dried plums and a hint of spice.
